We are looking for a Google Warehouse-expert to one of our insurance clients. The customer is replacing two legacy systems (MS SQL Server and Cognos-system) to Google Data Warehouse and now they need some extra helping hands.

There are two other persons in the team and the tasks in this project would be to first review and understand why migration has been slow and what is done so far and after that review if the client is doing right things and what is needed in order to succeed.

You will act as a senior/lead-member of the team so you need to be both hands-on but also able to help other more junior team members.

Technology requirements: Google Data Warehouse, BigQuery, ETL

Allocation: 100% at least first few weeks, then possibility to work 2-5 days per week / as agreed with the client
Start: asap
Length: 6-8 months (first a few weeks audit and then hands-on until Summer 2025)

Location: remote ok / client has an office in the Helsinki area
