Location - Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa - office presence availability - 3 days a week is required.

The STP Lending Manager application is a brand‑new greenfield initiative, offering a rare opportunity to shape a system from the ground up. The project is in its early stages and is backed by a dedicated and highly engaged business team, ensuring short feedback loops and clear, well‑prioritised requirements.

This is a pure backend role, focused on building a robust and scalable Java platform using Spring Boot. The solution will integrate with multiple surrounding systems through REST APIs and Kafka‑based event streaming, playing a central role in the wider lending ecosystem. JPA is used for persistence, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture, maintainable code, and clear ownership.

We expect team members to be comfortable leveraging AI‑assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve productivity, code quality, and flow efficiency in day‑to‑day development.

The team works in an Agile setup, characterised by high levels of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. English is the primary working language, and communication is a key success factor. Developers work closely with Business SMEs and the Product Owner, enabling fast clarification, shared understanding, and genuinely collaborative solution design rather than “over‑the‑wall” delivery.

This role suits someone who enjoys building systems from scratch, working close to the business, and influencing both technical and solution-level decisions in a modern backend environment.
