For our client, one of the Global IT Company we realize a recruitment process for Backend Developer (DWH L3 Support).

Job description:

1. AMS / Run Support (Primary)

• L2/L3 support for SSIS packages, SSAS cubes/tabular models, and SQL-based data warehouse jobs
• Monitor and resolve batch job failures, data load issues, and cube processing failures
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes for recurring incidents
• Support production deployments, hotfixes, and rollback activities
• Ensure SLA adherence for incidents, service requests, and problem management
• Support business and upstream/downstream teams during data issues and reconciliations

2. Minor Enhancements & Change Requests

• Implement small enhancements in SSIS (new columns, logic changes, source additions)
• Modify SSAS measures, dimensions, KPIs, DAX / MDX calculations as per business requests
• Enhance existing data models to support new reports or analysis
• Work on delta loads, performance improvements, and optimisation of ETL & cubes
• Update technical design documents and impact analysis for changes

3. Data Warehouse Management

• Maintain SQL Server data warehouse schemas (facts, dimensions, staging tables)
• Optimise SQL queries, indexes, and ETL performance
• Handle data quality checks, reconciliation, and historical data management
• Support incremental loads, archiving strategies, and capacity planning

4. Operational & Governance Activities

• Follow AMS processes: incident, problem, change, and release management
• Support code deployments via SSIS Catalog, SQL Agent Jobs, and controlled releases
• Participate in client discussions for issue resolution and minor CR clarifications
• Provide KT/support documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles
