We are looking for a Business Project Manager for our client in the manufacturing industry

The client is looking for a proactive Business Project Manager to support the final phase of implementing the price management platform PROS and the subsequent global rollout. The role involves driving milestone execution, coordinating core stakeholders, and ensuring structured follow-up on tasks, risks, testing, and change management. The position is part-time (approx. 10–20 hours per week) and expected to run until the end of 2026, with a possible extension depending on project needs.

Assignment description

Tasks that the person must be able to carry out or facilitate (in cooperation with the project team):

• Milestone and activity management: maintain realistic timelines and proactively adjust plans as needed.
• Task follow-up: conduct daily and weekly check-ins, track actions, and verify closure of tasks. This includes continuously aligning with the IS project manager.
• Risk management: maintain a risk log and take ownership of mitigation actions.
• Core team coordination: synchronize all subject matter experts and ensure impediments are removed.
• Testing and acceptance: define the scope for user acceptance testing (UAT), prioritize test cases, and lead defect triage.
• Change management planning: analyze stakeholder impact, create a communications plan, and organize training rollout.
• Training coordination: arrange train-the-trainer sessions and measure adoption.

Qualification criteria

• A proactive personality, capable of driving effective project execution (on time and on budget) across multiple stakeholder interfaces.
• Clear written and verbal communication: craft concise emails, create agendas, and facilitate meetings effectively.
• Project management: significant experience with project management and has ideally received formal training.
• Sufficient technical literacy: read design documents, understand integrations, and validate technical estimates.
