iOS Engineer – Mobile Application Development

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join the development of a widely used consumer mobile application.

You will develop new features and functionalities as part of an agile, cross-functional team, working closely with business stakeholders, designers, backend developers and QA engineers. Due to the large user base and business-critical nature of the application, reliability, security and high quality are key priorities in the development work.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience and strong know-how in iOS mobile development

• Strong experience with Swift and UIKit

• Good understanding of the iOS SDK

• Proficient knowledge of modern iOS development practices

• Understanding of software development best practices, including clean and high-quality code

• Experience with unit and integration testing

• Experience with Xcode

• Understanding of software architecture and the ability to recognize architectural dependencies

• Willingness to build and maintain test automation

• Ability to manage complex integrations and learn new technologies quickly

• Experience working in a cross-functional team

• Team player mindset and communicative working style

• Fluent communication skills in English

Nice to have

Experience in one or more of the following is considered an advantage:

• VIPER architecture

• Cybersecurity

• Accessibility

• Splunk

• Development of large-scale consumer mobile applications

• Loyalty program or banking domain experience

Working model

The assignment follows a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week on-site in Helsinki. We hope only candidates who are able to onsite work as needed.
