Project Manager (Two Parallel 50% Assignments)

Role Description

One of our customers is seeking a Project Manager to support two parallel assignments, each at approximately 50% allocation. The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful coordination, delivery, and execution.

1. B2B Admin Self‑Service Portal Project

The customer is about to initiate a project with an external partner to deliver a B2B Admin Self‑Service portal at a fixed price and agreed scope. The agreement is currently being finalized.

Estimated assignment duration: ~9 months.

Project Manager responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating activities between Tre and the external partner
  • Planning and executing the delivery rollout
  • Planning and performing acceptance testing
  • Managing installation in the production environment
  • Ensuring a smooth handover to the receiving internal team
  • Facilitating UX updates and improvements (baseline exists, but partner will propose enhancements)
  • Driving UX discussions efficiently with stakeholders in Sweden and Denmark
  • Coordinating with the Apollo transformation program (migration from legacy systems to Amdocs)

* The B2B Admin portal will integrate with Amdocs APIs and potentially interim legacy APIs

2. Network Automation – Core Network Project

Scope:

The customer is seeking support to drive the Core Network Automation initiative, including Ericsson’s automation MVP delivery and internal automation improvements across the Core domain.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the Core Network Automation project
  • Manage Ericsson’s automation MVP delivery
  • Identify, facilitate, and drive adoption of internal automation improvements
  • Together with stakeholders, define long‑term automation strategy and delivery roadmap
  • Overall goal: improve operational efficiency within the Core Network
  • Reporting and steering towards Core Network LT (Magnus, Sofia, Ola, Fredrik)
  • Coordinate resources from the Core Network line organization, Ericsson, and potential additional contributors

Must‑have competencies:

  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience running automation projects (e.g., GitOps)
  • Ability to drive value‑focused delivery
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to mediate technical discussions
  • Stakeholder management and decision‑making facilitation
  • General understanding of mobile core networks

Nice‑to‑have:

  • Experience with core network upgrades or deliveries
  • Experience from mobile operator projects
  • Understanding of Cloud Core infrastructure
  • GitOps/GitLab/GitHub experience
  • Background in testing/quality assurance
  • Swedish language skills
  • Experience from mobile core operations

Timeline:

Start: ASAP

End: Initially end of 2026, likely extended to Q2 2027

Workload: ~100%

Location: Stockholm/Globen HQ (majority onsite)

Travel: The role includes occasional travel to Denmark for workshops or key meetings
