Network Technical Lead

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced and hands-on Network Technical Lead to a large-scale international integration program.

The assignment focuses on owning the technical design and coordination of the network integration between two enterprise environments. The role covers the network integration from current-state assessment and target-state design through migration planning and deployment readiness.

The main focus will be on:

  • Leading the Network Stream and owning the technical planning and coordination of the network integration
  • Defining requirements for the network current-state assessment and validating the delivered technical baseline
  • Designing the end-to-end network integration covering LAN, Office networks, DMZ, Production Zones, WAN/Connectivity and Firewall services
  • Defining the target-state network architecture, required changes, technical prerequisites and dependencies
  • Ensuring that the network integration provides the required connectivity and transition readiness for application and end-user computing/device migrations
  • Identifying and coordinating dependencies across network, applications, infrastructure, identity and security
  • Developing an implementation-ready deployment strategy and plan, including both high-level and low-level implementation activities

The ideal candidate has:

  • Strong senior-level experience in network architecture, network integration and technical leadership
  • Strong expertise in LAN and Firewall services, with experience of enterprise network environments
  • Proven experience in designing end-to-end network integration and migration approaches
  • Good understanding of WAN/connectivity, DMZ, network segmentation and production network environments
  • Understanding of network dependencies related to application, infrastructure, identity, security and end-user device transitions
  • Experience coordinating technical teams and service providers across central, operational and local/site organizations
  • Ability to work independently and drive the Network Stream from assessment through integration design to deployment readiness
