Senior Test Engineer with Scrum Master experience
For our client, we are looking for Senior Test Engineer with Scrum Master experience.
As a Test Engineer within the Developer Portal team, you will act as the final safeguard for the quality of our Developer Portals, targeting web and app developers, as well as partners and integrators. You will collaborate closely with a small team of Developers, Designers, Business Analysts, Digital Product Managers, and other stakeholders to create a bug-free, user friendly, and reliable developer portal experience.
Your experience in test frameworks and test automation tools, particularly
with Jest and Cypress, will drive the evolution of our Developer Portal, ensuring quality,
performance, and usability across our web and web-based components. Familiarity
with telematic platforms is an advantage.
To further ensure our team's continuous growth, we are seeking a Test Engineer who can
also take on Scrum Master responsibilities. As a Scrum Master you will enhance our way
of working and facilitate effective communication across all teams.
You will:
• Through automated testing procedures conduct thorough evaluation of website
functionality, usability and assess the current security state. When required,
complement automation with manual testing to ensure accuracy, edge-case
coverage, and optimal user experience. Provide detailed feedback on code
quality and performance optimization to maintain a high level of reliability and
user satisfaction. Stay updated on the emerging cyber security threats and
vulnerability testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI Designers,
Digital Product Managers, and Developers, to understand requirements and
provide feedback and technical improvements.
• Plan and produce test documentation and contribute to the continuous
improvements of test automation, test coverage and development strategies.

You will encounter challenges and complexities daily. The ability to approach problems
analytically, your ability to communicate and collaborate with others, and your attention
to detail is essential.
In summary we believe that you have:
• A university degree with + 5 years working experience and in a relevant field minimum 3 years of experience as a tester, preferably strong focus on test automation
• Experience with a web automation tool – selenium, protractor, puppeteer, cypress, etc.
• Experience with JavaScript
• Explicitly expressed interest in test automation, code quality, or similar
• ISTQB-Certified (or equivalent)
Experience in a complex global company is considered beneficial, as well as experience
within a field close to or within web/application development frameworks and tools.
You hold a valid work permit for Sweden, if not an EU citizen. Fluent in English – both
written and spoken.
We have a hybrid work model that allows our co-workers to combine working in the
office with working from home two days each week.
We prioritize rent-hire consultants as we forecast the need to be long term.

REGARDING NECESSARY BACKGROUND CHECKS:

As a part of the contract signature, you, the supplier, will also sign a ‘SELF-DECLARATION FORM’ confirming all requested Background Checks are completed. If you/your consultant is selected for the assignment, you are responsible to ensure the background check is completed before signing a contract.
Our client reserves the right to request evidence of completion of these checks according to their expectations for the duration of the contingent worker assignment.
If any deviations or discrepancies occur, the supplier should inform Ework and the candidate should not be moving forward in the procurement process.
Any supplier awarded an assignment with our client needs to, at least, perform checks on:
• Identity verification
• Right-to-work confirmation
• Address verification (covering approximately the last 10 years)
• Education verification (highest relevant degree or certification)
• Financial fitness (e.g., history of bankruptcy or significant debts)
• Corporate directorship review (where applicable)
• Criminal record check in accordance with local legislation
• Basic open-source / media review (including social media)
