For our client, we are looking for a Senior Scrum Master.

You will be the Scrum Master for two squads, totaling 9 developers, 1 Business Analyst, and 1 Solution Architect. You will work closely with the Product Owner, who is also your line manager.

In addition to Scrum Master responsibilities, you will support configuration-related requests by gathering stakeholder needs, clarifying requirements, and ensuring development teams receive actionable input.

This role requires a high degree of independence, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to make sound decisions and take ownership within the area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies across two squads: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Prepare and facilitate PI Planning and other SAFe and ART-level ceremonies.

• Remove impediments, protect the team from unnecessary disruptions, and escalate issues when needed.

• Coach and support development teams in agile practices and drive continuous improvement.

• Use team metrics and delivery insights to identify improvement opportunities.

• Coordinate with dependent teams on cross-team dependencies.

• Gather and clarify configuration-related requests from stakeholders and ensure requirements are well-documented and actionable for developers.

• Maintain visibility of the configuration backlog and communicate priorities and timelines to requestors.

Competence Requirements

We believe you have

• Several years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in software development teams.

• Experience working in SAFe or a similar scaled agile framework, including PI Planning and ART-level ceremonies.

• Experience driving agile maturity and continuous improvement across teams.

• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across team and organizational boundaries.

• Experience with requirements elicitation: able to engage with business stakeholders, ask the right questions, and produce clear input for developers.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Basic understanding of databases, including data structures, queries, and how systems store and retrieve data.

• Good understanding of software development and how development teams build, test, deploy, and operate modern cloud-based services.

• Experience with production support and incident management processes.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and adapt communication styles to different audiences.

• Flexible and adaptable, with an agile mindset: able to work effectively when priorities change, information is incomplete, or requirements evolve.

• Curious and eager to learn: interested in continuously building domain knowledge across a broad and interconnected service landscape.

As a part of the contract signature, you, the supplier, will also sign a ‘SELF-DECLARATION FORM’ confirming all requested Background Checks are completed. If you/your consultant is selected for the assignment, you are responsible to ensure the background check is completed before signing a contract.

Our client reserves the right to request evidence of completion of these checks according to their expectations for the duration of the contingent worker assignment.

If any deviations or discrepancies occur, the supplier should inform Ework and the candidate should not be moving forward in the procurement process.

Any supplier awarded an assignment with our client needs to, at least, perform checks on:

• Identity verification

• Right-to-work confirmation

• Address verification (covering approximately the last 10 years)

• Education verification (highest relevant degree or certification)

• Financial fitness (e.g., history of bankruptcy or significant debts)

• Corporate directorship review (where applicable)

• Criminal record check in accordance with local legislation

• Basic open-source / media review (including social media)
