Our client in retail is looking for a consultant to reinforce the Customer Product Area development team. The two squads currently operating within the product area have a total of 9 other developers, of whom some focus primarily on the mobile app built with React Native and Expo, while others work on the e-com website based on React and Next.js. We hope the ideal candidate has both the experience and willingness to work with both.

Start: Asap
Duration: end of year, extension possible
Location: Helsinki onsite 2-3 days per week (3 days in the beginning)
Allocation: 100%
Language: English. Finnish is an advantage (most developers speak Finnish)

Requirements:

• Backend technologies include Node.js and GraphQL, so knowledge of these is necessary even though most of the work in the Customer Product Area focuses on the frontend.
• Experience with AWS environments is required, as we expect the ability to contribute to renewing our Next.js infrastructure and developing areas like the SSR implementation.
• We also expect familiarity with AI-assisted software development and an interest in helping improve development processes according to AI-assisted coding best practices. The client currently uses GitHub Copilot (e.g., Copilot CLI) and Amazon Kiro
